Welcome

This website provides a comprehensive overview of the information submitted by six Central American countries and the Dominican Republic in their annual reports to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). It describes their trade in species listed in the Appendices to CITES over the ten year period 2003-2012.

The aim of this report is to provide key summary messages to inform future trade management in the Region, as a contribution to the capacity development programme supported by the U.S. Department of Interior.
